Is Ephedrine an Ingredient of Ep57?

Ep57 means “Ephedrine P57” which is a weight loss supplement that contains Ephedrine and Hoodia. However, due to the ban of Ephedrine that was declared by the US Food and Drug Administration, purchasing and consumption of such product is illegal.

Ephedrine was never illegal in the United States not until it was banned in 1997. The US Food and Drug Administration have regulated the use of Ephedra which is an herb where Ephedrine is derived. All dietary supplements that contain Ephedrine were banned to the market in the year 2006.

Although Ephedrine is very effective, it poses a threat to the overall health of an individual making it illegal for consumption.

Does Hoodia Work?

There are no studies or clinical investigations that prove the efficacy of Hoodia. The only Hoodia that is proven to be effective is the African Hoodia that is already an endangered species. Due to this, shipping of Hoodia from Africa is already prohibited. However, despite this announcement, there are still some companies that claim that their Hoodia is authentic from Africa. The truth is, majority of the Hoodia that these companies have are fake and not effective.
